Medical Education

Castle Gardens Surgery is working in partnership with the University of Exeter to support the training of medical students.

As part of this, you may be offered a telephone or face-to-face appointment with a GP trainee or medical student. All trainees and students are closely supervised by one of our qualified GPs. Occasionally, a student may also be present during your consultation with a doctor or nurse.

Your consent will always be requested beforehand. If you would prefer not to have a student present, you are welcome to decline or ask for the student to step out at any time.
